Stone walling

Stone walls have been around for thousands of years, the first being constructed by our ancient ancestors and farmers. By placing upright slabs of stone next to each other they formed boundaries to kept their livestock penned in. Much later mortars were incorporated into walls to build shelters, houses, castles, fortifications, city walls and all manner of structures in various forms all around the world. Stone walling is one of our specialities, we are historic wall specialists. We repair, restore and rebuild old walls and that’s what we do best. We can also build new walls if you want them. Wherever possible we will always use existing stone to hand on site and we are experienced in using all types of stone including granite, slate, sandstone and limestone to name a few.
