Barn Conversions

Barns

Barns have character, each and everyone of them different, and to date we are proud to have carried out work to more than fifty conversions. We’ve carried out work not only to barns but other farm buildings such as farm houses, old cottages and coach houses to name a few, and many of these are listed historic buildings. Along with all the structural works and repairs associated with these types of buildings, we also carry out the repointing to the stone walls and the landscaping within the gardens such as boundary walls and patios. We work closely with the client, their architect and the conservation officer to ensure everything we do is carried out as it should be. Historic rural buildings are important as they are a precious resource that give us a powerful reminder of our traditions, our work and our way of life of previous generations. With extensive knowledge in the restoration of these types of buildings you can rest assure that all our work is carried out in a professional manner using traditional techniques along with the use of correct materials that are best suited for the building in hand and surrounding environment. The galleries below are just some of the conversions we have been involved in.
