Chimneys

Chimneys

Chimneys are constructed in a manner of all shapes and forms ranging from plain simple styles to the grand and intricately ornate. Centuries ago they became architectural features on some buildings that suggested wealth and prosperity of the property owner. Adverse weather conditions, water penetration, heat expansion or poor construction can all contribute to a chimney’s structural integrity sometimes leaving them dangerously unstable and in need of urgent attention. Water ingress, above all else, will create issues that can potentially cause untold damage to the timber roof structures and internal finishes. We have worked on many chimneys in both stone and brick from repairs to complete rebuilds. Here are just a few projects we have carried out in the past.
