Sea Defence
There are many features built around our coastal regions that include sea walls, harbours, jetties, docks, piers and breakwaters just to name a few, with a great number of them constructed in stone. No matter how well they are constructed, given time ‘Mother Nature’ shall always prevail and these structures will alway be in need of constant repairs. Access, tidal conditions and methods of construction make this a costly but necessary task as it protects our assets on land. These are some of the sea defence projects we have been involved in around the South – West of England.
