This is a date stone with the letters MCM that we cut into a stone which was already built into an elevation at Broomhill House in Harford, Devon

The letters were cut in ‘Bas relief’ style and are the Roman numerals for 1900, the date the house was built.

We did this whilst we were at the property carrying out other work which involved various bits of stone that required us to cut and dress. You can read all about this project if you click here.
