Rose Ash House ~ Plymouth, Devon.

A small section of this dry stone boundary wall had collapsed and we were asked to repair it.
The wall was originally built in the 1940’s and had seen better days.
We prepared the wall by taking down some parts whilst leaving other sections that were in a stable condition.
The stone is Plymouth limestone and is roughly shaped into fairly regular sizes. Once the preparation was done it was all built back together.
These walls are traditionally built back to back with an earth core and the stone being laid vertically.
